User management

Learn how to manage users and billing information for your organization as a Pullflow admin.

Accessing the user management page

  1. Log in to the Pullflow web app.
  2. Navigate to Users in the left-hand sidebar.

Note: The User management page provides two tabs:

  • Active Users: Displays all currently active users.
  • Deactivated Users: Displays users who have been deactivated.

Viewing user details

The active users tab provides the following information for each user:

  • Name: The user’s name (linked to their profile).
  • Role: The assigned role (e.g., User, Admin, Owner).
  • State: Whether the user is Active or deactivated.
  • Actions: Available actions for each user, such as Change role or Deactivate.

  2. Click Change Role in the Actions column.
  3. In the User Details modal:
    • Select or deselect roles (e.g., Admin, User).
  4. Click Confirm to save changes.

Tip: Multiple roles can be assigned to a user (e.g., User, Admin).

Deactivating or reactivating users

To deactivate a user:

  1. On the User Management page, locate the user under the Active Users tab.
  2. Click Deactivate in the Actions column.
  3. Confirm the deactivation in the prompt.

To reactivate a user:

  1. Switch to the Deactivated Users tab.
  2. Locate the user you want to reactivate.
  3. Click Reactivate in the Actions column.
  4. Confirm the action.

Note: Deactivated users cannot access Pullflow but retain their previous data and role assignments.

Monitoring seat usage

Admins and Owners can monitor the number of seats available in the organization’s plan.

  1. At the top of the User Management page, view the Current Seats count.
    • For unlimited plans, this will display Unlimited.
    • For paid plans, it shows the number of seats used vs. seats available.

Tip: Deactivating users automatically frees up seats for your team.

Troubleshooting

Common issues

  1. User cannot access Pullflow:

    • Ensure their Slack profile is linked.
    • Verify they are listed under Active Users and not deactivated.
    • Check if all available seats are occupied.
  2. Role changes not saving:

    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions as an Admin or Owner.
  3. Slack profile linking issues:

    • Recheck the user’s Slack account and ensure it’s connected to the correct workspace.
